Color Printer for CAS

A new color printer at Central Avenue Elementary School allows students to produce special color projects each year.

The new color printer at CAS allows each student to print a special project in color each year.  Fifth graders produce brochures, fourth graders can print research reports on animals and even second graders benefit by learning color bar graphing.  Allowing children to see their work in full color is a much more exciting and dynamic experience than just a black and white or grayscale design.  In addition, the computer programs being taught to elementary students implement color design, making the color printer that much more significant.  A finished design in color is something tangible students can bring home to share with parents.
